Where Nothing Settles
Series of 14 moving-image works, 2026

Where Nothing Settles is a series of fourteen moving-image works exploring flowers as bodies in constant transformation. Created through a combination of digital painting, generative systems, and animation, the works allow organic forms to dissolve, merge, and continuously reappear.
The series imagines flowers as living systems that exist between nature and technology. Petals stretch into fluid surfaces, colours migrate across forms, and familiar structures slowly lose their boundaries before assembling into new configurations.
Across the series, the flower becomes a metaphor for identity, memory, and connection. Each work captures a different moment within an ongoing process of change, suggesting that nothing ever reaches a final state.
Where Nothing Settles reflects on softness as a form of resilience and transformation, inviting us to see change not as disruption, but as the natural condition of contemporary life.
